The best season of the year is nearly upon us in the Southern hemisphere – Summer. Anyone who says they don’t like Summer is just plain weird in my book. There are so many reasons to love this time of the year, the fact that it coincides with Christmas, New Years and a lot of long weekends is an added bonus. Here’s the highlights of Summer:
- Sun which usually brings warm weather (except if you live in Dunedin)
- Swimming at the Beach
- Camping at Tawhanui and other awesome National Parks / Beaches
- BBQ’s
- Drinking G & T’s in the sun
- Rose again best consumed in the sun
- Festivals
- Outdoor cinemas
- Jandels
- Not having to wear heaps of clothes to work
- Socialising
- Summer fruits
- Pimms
- Holidays
- Christmas and New Years
